Sarah Galvin

My work is from personal experiences that are sometimes shared with friends and family and at other times private. I have used an array of media in portraying my works with video being the chosen format for my graduation work. My current work explores my firsthand perspective on sleep paralysis, through an expressionistic video. The audience will experience an imaginary and expressive account of things, sounds and imagery that mimics the impending terror found when a person is not fully awake and, although conscious of their surroundings, are unable to move or speak which is often accompanied by feelings of terror.
