Nicholas McLachlan

Through the medium of photography, my works have focused on capturing unique and intimate moments featuring the people in my life who are close to me. After inheriting my Grandfather’s cameras from his time owning a newspaper, I now use these cameras as an integral part of my work. Often I find the cameras are as important to my work as the photographs that I take. In my recent work, I have used a Speed Graphic 4 x 5 inch to re-stage significant moments from my childhood found in family albums and photographic archives.
