Design is a kind of freedom for me. It’s the only thing that I find to be almost completely intuitive. Branding is my obsession. There’s something about designing an entire personality for a business that excites me. You get given either absolutely nothing or some scraps and you break it down. It’s the simplest thing that makes a company unique and you draw upon that idea. Once you have it, that design concept, that’s when intuition almost takes over. It’s so rewarding watching design concepts morph into all kinds of collateral. As difficult as it can sometimes be, getting the chance to put an idea out into the world is a truly incredible experience.
